FUNCTIONAL DECOMPOSITION - PROCESS 1

This diagram is the functional decomposition for process number 1. This process reads the employee id and password from the login screen and then validates it. It also retrieves the employee information from the employee data store based on the employee id. The employee information is then transmitted to process number 2 for further processing.

Note: This diagram shows some of the processes and data stores that are external to the system. This is because of the limitation of the CASE tool we are using.
